Collection: What Remains

This collection begins with what is usually discarded.

Each illustration is composed from paper remnants generated during the making of mobiles. Fragments that lose their original function and are reorganized into new relationships of balance and form.

There is no predefined plan only attentive observation and minimal decisions.

Every piece is unique.
Every shape, inevitable

Structure of the Collection

This project is divided into two sections: Originals and Reproductions.

Originals

The Originals are the final outcome of the creative process.
Each piece is a unique illustration composed from leftover paper fragments, carefully arranged into a new visual composition.

They are made using  the same material used in the creation of the mobiles  establishing a direct connection between both practices.

This is a limited collection of 20 unique pieces.
Each work is mounted on a 15 × 15 cm white card, allowing it to exist both as an artwork and as an object.

They can be:

  • framed as a small-format artwork
  • or used as a card, and later framed

Each piece is one of a kind.
